Welcome!
My name is Claire Lucas. I have always been passionate about creativity, and have been living and working as an artist, teacher and workshop facilitator in West Cornwall for over 20 years.
"The Art of Ceremony" has evolved out of my interest in the celebratory, healing and growthful potential of creativity. In a world where "busyness" and materialism have become the norm, working creatively offers us the opportunity to reconnect to heart and soul; to add meaning to and make sense of our lives.
Everyone can be creative...it doesn't have to be a matter of talent or training; it can simply be about finding playful and heartful ways to express yourself. It is one of my greatest joys to support and witness this profound and enriching process; to find ways, to give space, to listen to soul-whispers.

Dates for forthcoming workshops:
Textiles
Thursday evening courses every fortnight, starting February 25th, in Sennen. First 3 focus on felt-making. £10/session (includes materials & chocolate!). There will be opportunities to join the group every 3 weeks throughout the year.
Art of Ceremony
Thursday evenings every fortnight, starting March 4th, in Sennen. Using Art of Ceremony exercises & activities to facilitate a creative journey through life's challenges and triumphs. £10/session (includes materials & chocolate!). There will be opportunities to join this group every 3 weeks throughout the year too.
Nurturing the Nurturer
Saturday March 13th, 10am - 6pm, at The Goat Barn, Near St Buryan, West Cornwall. An opportunity for mothers, carers, teachers and service providers of all ages to enjoy a day of heartful, self-nourishing creativity (sorry guys, this one's just for women!). £50 (includes materials and lunch).
Creating Trust
Saturday and Sunday March 27th & 28th, 10am-6pm, and 10am-4pm, at the Goat Barn, Near St Buryan, West Cornwall. A weekend of soulful creativity, of nurturing your inner artist and learning to trust that inspiration is never more than a breath away! £100 (includes materials and lunches).
